Kočevski rog - Baza 20


The Kočevski Rog outstation is based at Lukov Dom below Baza 20	The new hut of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Slovenia (hut 24) is often the subject of photographs owing to its picturesque setting	The propaganda workers’ hut stands out from all the huts at Baza 20 owing to its number of windows

The present-day exhibition in the propaganda workers’ hut was set up to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the end of the Second World War	The field hospital of Jelendol was built at the location where the wounded from the first Partisan hospital in the Rog area at Daleč Hrib survived the major Italian offensive in the summer of 1942	The Partisan hospital of Zgornji Hrastnik was the first field hospital in Kočevski Rog that was not built in a deep depression but below the summit of a hill
